Self-propelled, tracked harvester for leeks. In this setup, the harvester uses a hook-arm mechanism to pull a transport trailer onto the trackway. The trailer is lifted entirely off the ground and positioned next to the loading conveyor. These trailers can carry over 6,000 kg of leeks at a time—not in traditional leek crates, but on a specialized trailer. Automated row-following technology eliminates the need for manual steering, while large, 80 cm-wide tracks minimize soil compaction and rutting. The ability to continue harvesting even in wet conditions offers a significant advantage over tractor-mounted harvesters.
